In 2012 the owner had a vision of a home surrounded by gardens and that vision has become reality. Sun-loving perennials and shrubs surround the house. Under a stand of majestic oak trees, shade loving plants take over the show with the stunning backdrop of the St. Lawrence River. Colour, texture and form are displayed to advantage on 2.4 acres. Best described as a plant collector's garden; many uncommon plants are featured. The show starts early in the season and continues until frost. This site also features a large vegetable garden and fruit trees. The property is registered as a Canadian Wildlife Federation 'Backyard Habitat' and as a 'Monarch Waystation'.
