1000 Islands and Rideau Canal Garden Trail
Stroll the banks of the St. Lawrence River amongst the beautiful gardens featuring many flowers, plants and quotations from famous Shakespearean plays. Located a few short steps away from the Sandra S. Lawn Harbour & Marina and adjacent to the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival amphitheatre, guests can catch a performance or stroll along the waterfront promenade to enjoy a great view! Enjoy a picnic, grab an ice cream from the Rotary Lighthouse, then visit the Pop-up Promenade. Accessible by car or boat, the gardens now extend to the RiverWalk Park and Heritage River Trail, and are just steps away from shops, pubs, restaurants, and Fort Wellington National Historic Site.
